While it has always been easy to make gifts to art institutions in this country, prior to the founding of USA, it was difficult to make a tax-deductible gift to an individual artist. USA presents a unique opportunity to support our country's finest artists and receive tax benefits.
100% Efficiency
United States Artists has created a structure to identify America's finest artists and to grant money to them in an efficient manner. Thanks to the generosity of its founders, USA's operating expenses are fully funded for the next five years. This means 100% of donor contributions are directed to the artists we support.
100-Year Plan
With the support of individuals who choose to invest in artists, USA is creating an organization dedicated to the unlimited promise of our finest artists. Our horizon line is not three, five, or 25 years, but rather 100 years and beyond. We are building a program that is privately funded, prestigious, and permanently endowed.
Private: Historically, public support for the arts and artists is unstable and unreliable; therefore USA will accept only private contributions.
Prestigious: By awarding artists in all disciplines across the nation with significant support at an unprecedented national level, USA brings attention and validation to our best practitioners.
Permanent: Our goal is to permanently endow all 50 USA Fellowships.
