Tina Landau is a playwright, director, and scholar of theater whose work has been recognized nationally for its intelligence, muscularity, and deeply human connection with its audiences and communities. Her work as a book, lyric, and directorial collaborator on new musicals has garnered numerous honors, including the Richard Rodgers Award, the Lucille Lortel Award, the Obie, and Drama Desk nominations. Landau has also received support from the Princess Grace Foundation, the NEA/TCG Directing Fellowship, and Rockefeller and Pew grants. She is the co-author (with Anne Bogart) of the profoundly influential The Viewpoints Book and is sought after as a theatrical educator, director, and collaborator.
