A portrait of two people taken on a street. The person on the left has bangs and wears a pink and white dress. The person on the right has pigtails, and wears a bedazzled cap with the word 'STAR' on it, and a bright blue textured top.

LIZN’BOW (Liz Ferrer and Bow Ty) are a Miami-based collaborative duo whose practice spans performance, video, music, immersive installation, and new media. Their ongoing project, Niñalandia, functions as a world-building framework for investigating identity, migration, and technology through queer and Latinx futurisms. At its core, Niñalandia is a queer-futurist, Latinx, pro-pocalyptic landscape: a way of imagining collapse not as an end but as the beginning of adaptation, joy, and collective resilience. Within this expanded universe, the artists use tools such as VR, AR, projection mapping, and interactive sculpture to explore the fluid boundaries between physical and virtual realities.

Image has a graphic quality and is from the point of view of someone on a rollercoaster. Surrounding the tracks appears to be clear water over a purple and white checkerboard surface. A cow with bright blue spots in a jet ski and an avatar character riding a green car float nearby. In the distance, a tall figure shoots lasers from their eyes at a distant cityscape.

A car sits in the corner of a room. Projected onto the walls is a bright fuchsia sky with clouds stretched across it. The car includes digital fantastical imagery born out of LIZN'BOW's concepts of a post apocalyptic Miami, combined with personal jokes, etc.
